No, it doesn’t work. It’s cardboard and plastic assembled in Taiwan.

One cannot ‘force’ paranormal activity. If you’re a sensitive, meditate, and notice everything–you will find signs, activities, messages, etc…daily from the other side.
I just read the book called ‘Never Say Goodbye’,written by the medium Patrick Mathews, and I highly recommend it.

Your chances of catching something on film or recording is slim to none, its very hard to capture evidence, and I can’t tell you how many rolls of film I burned and only caught a few things. This is over years of investigating. So don’t be discouraged if you don’t get anything.

First my family tried to come up with a fun board game that we could play on it. After half an hour we reverted back to Monopoly.
Then I tried grading cheese on it, but it just did not work well in the kitchen.
Now the dog has it and its the greatest toy ever! Must be the bones of the ghosts…

No, it doesn’t. It’s called the ideomotor effect – you’re moving the planchette yourself, whether you realize it or not. This is easily tested by blindfolding someone and rotating the board – funny how the spirits can’t guide them any more.

Yes. It works with some people. There has to be a spirit/ghost around. Are you sure you want a ghost around you? Would you want a live person hiding in your closet? If not..I don’t think you would like a ghost. It will stay and watch EVERYTHING you do!! It will also cause you a lot of problems…sometimes horrible things happen later. Are you willing to take a chance on this just for a little fun and excitement? Are you willing to put your family in danger? It can also get inside you and make you do things you wouldn’t want to do normally.

Stay away from it. Its Evil. If you value your life, you steer clear of it.

Yes Ouija boards work. If you have to ask about one, then you don’t need to use one. If you open a portal with one, you have NO clue to what will be coming out.
If you have a spirit in the house then try leaving a tape recorder on all night.

Ouija boards can be a lot of fun.Buy one at ToysRUs and try it.You can do all kinds of things with it Like fool your friends even scare them. Can you contact the dead or demons? No,of course not.Still for a laugh or good old spooky fun. They’re hard to beat.
It must be hard to get video or photographic evidence.I’ve never seen any that was any good.

How unbelieveably blase’ and ignorant some of the answers are. Wow.
Davion23: Guns are made of just metal parts so what is your point?
Zachary9351: Get an Ouija board for your kids for fun to scare them? I’d love your address to report you to child services or at the very least make sure you don’t breed and make more of yourself.
Ouija boards are not good. I won’t even allow one in my house. They are NOT a way of communicating with the dead or a good way to practice divination. They are not a fun little thing to do instead of monopoly. Most of the time when people use them nothing happens because they fail to do something important like ‘read directions’. They push the planchette around on the board and think it’s a farce and put the thing away – this is for the best.
When one of these actually manage to function well inthe hands of the inexperienced and ignorant you can often open a pathway for demons or malevolent spirits to enter into your home. They pretend to be a deceased relative or nice person. Once they are part of your life they may kill a pet at the very least or worse, a loved one.
Our paranormal investigation group wont touch a home where ouija boards have been used.
Do not waste your time or peace of life on one of these things and stay away!

The ouija board can work quite well in my opinion, but for some reason I am totally creeped out by it, You may get some things on film , but would it be real proof? You will see people touching the planchette and the planchette rushng around spelling letters on the film, but you will not be able to tell if they are pushing it or not, so I am not sure what proof you are looking for? DO you think you might get orbs? You might, but there is a chance it is dust particles… do you think you will get a figure on tape? You might, but again, what proof do you really have?
I truly believe in all of this stuff. but as for proof, I don’t know if there is really any proof.

Yes it works. Do not use it if you know that you have a spirit that is bothering you and your house already though. It can make matters worse. I have used one. I also have a friend that is very “sensitive” and open to that world. When it is used it can go very slow or not work at all if you dont believe or something like that. When my friend does it, it goes fast. There are a lot of experiences that happen with the Ouija board. Not all are good. It can open your house to evil and to many other spirits. I wouldnt recommend doing it in a house that is bothered by one. Getting videos or pictures probably wont happen because you really cant see it all that much. A spirit is energy and it is through the light. But a ghost can sometimes be seen if it puts the energy like that.

I used a Ouija Board once when I was a kid. Yeah it was fun pretending we were talking to spirits, but half the time we got answers like “wdifgjql” which Idonno, maybe the spirits like using ciphers. But I think it was actually the fact that 4 kids are generally poor at silently collaborating on the next thing the spirit will say. The truth is, the dead don’t waste their time speaking to people through Ouija boards, and the boards don’t open gateways to hell or some other alternate dimensions where spirits have nothing better to do than just hang out and fuck with people. The Ouija board is nothing more than, as someone already said, cardboard and plastic assembled in Taiwan. Think about it for a second. They are mass-produced in a factory. What makes them any more special than if you made your own with a piece of notebook paper? And what makes you think the dead would want to or are even capable of hanging out here and talking to people?

Since most of the world does not speak English having one with say Chinese symbols would be kind of big. Also if properly blindfolded and flip the board upside-down (without telling) will result in gibberish.

Yes it really works. I’m saying this from personal experience. Me and my cousin thought that we would test it out to see if it really worked or if maybe unknowingly we moved it ourselves. So we took the board out to the TV room. Closed all the lights. Lit up a few candles. Both my cousins decided to play, except for me. I had them face away from the board so that they could not see what letter the thing would land at. They asked the spirit to tell them what country their parents were born at. Keep in mind that both my cousins faces were away from the board and they were not allowed to and did not look down at the board for the entire process. Surprisingly, the board spelled the country name correctly letter by letter. We were scared but still continued to play more often in my room because it was still fun. Eventually the board just started spooking me out. I would get a very creepy feeling every time I looked at the board. Soon, I would wake up in the middle of the night because I would hear footsteps inside my room. I sleep in my room by myself so that was creepy. I was so spooked by the board that I handed it to my parents along with the receipt and told them to return it. After that I would recite religious verses on myself and in my room for protection. Eventually I felt safe inside my house but each time I entered our garage I would get this scary, creepy feeling over me as if some spirit was there. I have never been scared to go into our garage before and it’s not like it’s a basement or anything. The feeling of some spiritual presence got so bad that I refused to step foot into the garage but would still force myself to since that’s where I parked my car. A week later that feeling was no longer there and I was happy and relieved and that same day I found out that my parents had placed the Ouija board in a bag and put it on a shelf inside the garage. That day when I no longer felt scared to be in the garage was the day that they had actually returned the board. Creepy. I will not EVER let a ouija board come inside our house ever again. You know, looking back the funny thing is, that the board would work with everyone at my home except with my mom. Maybe because she is very religious? Don’t know.
About paranormal evidence, I have found that it is easier to capture audio using a tape recorder. I have never been able to capture evidence on video or pic.

A Ouija board really works, but it doesn’t communicate with spirits of the dead. It spells out messages via something called the ideomotor effect. As with divination, you are making the thing move subconsciously. You can test this. Cover the board and have someone else write the answers down (quietly) to see what sort of messages you get.
EDIT: It’s entertaining to read the answers of the ignorant and superstitious. They act as if a toy will open the Doors to the Other Side. Oooooooo! It goes to show you what magical thinking does.
