oh well i went to check some info on bonobo and they like mixing their beats with Mediterranean cultures based around it so maybe either way some very good music just like the cultures

I’m not positive but the guitar sounding sample in this sounds alot like a Greek Bouzouki to me… I always thought it was a greek song sample by the way its played, the scale and the fact that it sounds like a Bouzouki

Dang i feel like i just took a college class about history.
EVERYONE STOP WORRING ABOUT HISTORY JUST CHILL TO THE MUSIC
By JHOseven on May 6, 2008 | Reply
p3 is right. “Roma”, not “Roman”. Sorry, history class.
By wiseblast on May 8, 2008 | Reply
well wikepedia isnt very reliable since it can be changed by anyone at any time so i dont trust it i just go with what i learned from the history classes

on a wikipedia article i see that it supports my argument, search for “Roma People” at Wikipedia i think it is very well documented
By wiseblast on May 11, 2008 | Reply
well i was doing some studies and found that gypsys were basically Roman nomads after its collapse and as for the Punjab area they did kinda intermixed with the romans
By p3010010 on May 12, 2008 | Reply
No gypsies came to Europe from India around 500Ad basically from the regions of Punjab and Rajastan
By wiseblast on May 13, 2008 | Reply
yeah that why i sometimes get confused at first i though it was like gypsy stuff lol then i remembered cant be cuz of the rhythm and then plus Romans (gypsy’s) were basically Greek wannabes and so they share alot of their cultural roots
