What’s the point of all these “foreign bride” questions?

Does anyone really care if someone else wants to marry a foreigner?
I’m just curious.
Do you really think you’re safer from “being abused” marrying a foreign person? After all, people are people, no matter where they come from. There are “abusive” personalities born to every nation. Choosing someone outside of the US does not guarantee that your relationship will be blissful. If you’re looking for a submissive personality, this also does not guarantee your relationship will be just as you ideally imagine it.
Your thoughts?
I hear some of you saying that you’re looking to foreign women to make you happy. Is it wise to put your happiness (and the responsibility for it) solely onto someone else’s shoulders? What about creating happiness for yourself, and sharing it then, with someone else? Is it right to define a relationship as being one where you are always the center of it, and someone else is always the giver or the sacrificer?
Personally, it doesn’t bother me a bit who one chooses to marry, or where that person comes from. What I’m addressing here are unrealistic expectations, fallacies of thought, entitlement issues, and self-centeredness. I feel sorry for any woman with whom the burden of someone else’s happiness is given. It can be a heavy weight for anyone to carry.

Some of those guys just want to justify what they’re doing. It’s not much them really wanting to marry a foreigner but their obsession with wanting to compare those of their own culture to the foreigner and insisting the domestic one always comes up short because they are women who can’t be dominated by the person who wants a person not to love but to control.
In short, a case of sour grapes on the part of the man posting the question.

Men want to dominate over someone like they do over their dogs, they can do so with foreign brides. Not with thinking American women. They are trying to threaten you into isolation. (By you I mean straight women)

There is no point at all but they want to get a rise out of feminists by insinuating that western women are not what men want. They think women should be be submissive, dumb and spend all day on their hair, house and mattress. I doesn’t bother me if that’s what they want then good luck to them.

Sometimes people desire companionship, and dating in this country is hazardous for a lot of people of both genders. For whatever reason someone wants to marry a foreigner, it is someone who’s trying to find an alternative to what they perceive is in their own backyard. I’m a guy who’d love to marry a foreigner just to not have to be used and abused in the dating game.

Rationalization, projection and denial of issues that these males do not wish to address as far as their own inadequacy to develop a mature relationship with a person of the opposite sex. Thus they blame it one someone else or in this case an entire population of women.

The point is that men are dissatisfied with the turn culture has taken and are looking at other options. When men do so, feminist do what they do best, shaming language. “He wants a slave, someone who’ll do whatever he wants.” Hmmm would it be smarter for him to get an American woman who’s does nothing that he wants?
If a foreign bride makes an American man happy, I say he should go for it. The Tracey’s, Professors, and La Bell (whatever) and Blue B’s of the world certainly aren’t going to make any man happy.

The big deal is that the nanny state, through an act called IMBRA, which is a subdivision of VAWA, has decided to micromanage marriage to foreigners. Both IMBRA and VAWA are slaps in the face to any American that believes in equality.
If some men want to marry submissive women that’s their business, not Aunt Sam’s. Just as it is nobody’s biz that women want men to be well endowed, or rich. Gov’t needs to keep its nose out of personal relationships.
